My work is interested in the space between who we are, who we are expected to be and who we choose to become.

Through film, I explore questions of identity, self-image, femininity and the roles women are given or decide to leave behind. I am interested in the moments when these ideas become visible, in the way we perform, how we present ourselves, how we look at each other and how much of ourselves we allow to be seen.

My original formats bring these themes into real environments and real lives. Rather than creating fictional characters, I work with real women, real experiences and the tension between the person in front of the camera and the image she is expected to embody.
